Unemployment is at record levels not reached since the Great Depression. Families are being challenged in ways that were unimagined only a few years ago. Job loss presents new challenges in revenue streams, credit issues, foreclosure, and family disintegration. Experts tell us that financial issues are the number one reason for divorce in America.

 

We say enough is enough… people need jobs… families need hope… and we believe the church has the answer!

 

Shared Resource Network, Inc. and CEAN are teaming up with area churches to bring local access to jobs, employment information, training, and focus on putting people back to work. This is aimed at restoring families, building lives, and putting people on the track to be productive citizens.

 

Beyond this, the church benefits by extending their love and caring to hurting people that do not know where to turn. It would follow that where people find help, hope, and a welcoming family, they will return again and again to further develop, learn, and grow. This outreach is intended to “teach them to fish” and become the victorious that will return to help others.

 

Our vision is to build and grow a network of churches to host and community partners including businesses, education, and organizations to develop the people… starting from where they are… helping them become all they can be!

The Shared Resource Network Inc. and the Community Employment Assistance Network (C.E.A.N) a division of S.R.N, are inviting you and your company to participate in “Marketing Your Career & Job Expo”

 

The Shared Resource Network (SRN) and C.E.A.N is a membership organization consisting of corporate and non profit businesses focused on helping people to achieve their career dreams. SRN is having a series of mini job fairs to be held geographically throughout Columbus’ faith-based facilities in order to reach the growing number of area residents that are unemployed. The unemployment rate for the State of Ohio in March was a staggering 9.7%, the highest unemployment rate since the Great Depression. If your organization is hiring or is even expected to hire in the very near future, then Marketing Your Career & Job Expo represents the perfect opportunity to reach a large number of job seekers who are looking for career opportunities.
